History

Established in 1955, Best Taste started off in Singapore as Ko Ghim Heong (高錦香), a home based family oriented business, specialised in manufacturing traditional snacks and biscuits. The snacks was an instant hit among the local communities and it developed a fanatical following across the country. We first established our presence beyond the borders in the 1970s as exports to Sabah and Sarawak soared, and this was extended to Brunei and Batam by 1980.

In 2000, Ko Ghim Heong was rebranded as Best Taste, to continue innovating and manufacturing traditional snacks for the communities. After more than 60 years, the business continued to thrive under the leadership of the third generation, as it entered the markets of China and New Zealand.

Although the business is expanding, it continues to employ the same traditional methods of crafting Asian snacks by hand and using only the best quality ingredients. We are uncompromising when it comes to quality control as we manage our facilities and processes very stringently. As such, we have been accredited and certified to internationally-recognised standards such as ISO 22000.

Today, we have more than 100 different types of products, ranging from traditional premium crackers to grains and nuts. Best Taste is committed to bringing only the best to our customers.
