Originally known as Ko Ghim Heong | 高錦香, a home-based family business specialised in manufacturing traditional snacks such as Love Letters and Plums. The snacks were an instant hit among the local community back then, and it developed a strong following across the country shortly.
1970S & 1980S
Establishing Presence
We started exporting to Sabah and Sarawak before extending to Brunei and Batam in the 1980s. As demand for our products increased, we began to expand our variety of offerings, venturing into handmade biscuits such as Coconut Biscuits and Mungbean Cookies, Tapioca Chips and Keropok.
1990s & 2000s
Rebranding & Expansion
In 2000, Ko Ghim Heong rebranded itself as Best Taste to continue innovating and manufacturing traditional snacks. We expanded into bigger markets such China and New Zealand.

Innovation & Craft
Best Taste is an OEM for several major supermarket chains and renowned F&B restaurants. We are also the brand owner of Kracker King and authorised importer for snacks from Taiwan. We continuously experiment with new flavours while preserving traditional methods of crafting Asian snacks by hand, using only the best and quality ingredients for everyone’s enjoyment.
